| Dancing is a dream to Zhang Yang. He has a secret to Yang Wei-Lun, that is, he will go abroad to study dancing after this summer.They were 17 years old, in the last year of high school.“I could hardly remember, what books I had read and what class I were in. But I’ll never forget…that summer night.” |

| 在長大和還沒長大之間，有個灰色地帶，在這裡，自己想搞清楚自己，外面的世界卻想要你變成他們想要你變成的某種人。壓力之下，帶著”想離開…到某處去”的心情，逃離了城市、逃離了現實生活，這是每個人或多或少都有的經驗與悸働，但是，我們終究還是要回來到這囚籠裡的。差別在於，在那片刻的自由中，我們獲得了回憶以及繼續走下去的勇氣。 |
| There is a grey area between grown up and not yet grown up. Here, you try to figure out yourself, but the outside world tries to make you become a certain kind of person that they want you to be. Under this pressure, escaping from the city and real life with the thought of “getting out” is something that everyone has more or less experienced. But in the end, we always have to come back to this cage. The difference is that after that momentary freedom, we gain memories and the courage to go on. |

| 林君陽，28歲，目前就讀於國立台北藝術大學電影創作研究所導演組。曾參與製作<五月之戀>、<愛的麵包魂>與<曬棉被的好天氣>等多部影片，2007年獲選參加柏林影展Talent Campus#5。<木頭人>獲新聞局短片輔導金補助，為第一支正式的創作短片。 |
| Lin Chun-Yang, 28, is now studying directing in Graduate School of Filmmaking, Taipei National University of the Arts. Lin participated in the production of iseveral feature films n Taiwan. In the early 2007, Lin was selected to partake in Talent Campus#5 of Berlinale.“Puppets” is Lin’s first formal short film. |
