Announcing the 2026 TIDF Key Art!

This year's key art was inspired by the film Off Frame aka Revolution Until Victory, one of the works from this year's "Focus Programme - Palestine and Its Archiveless Archive". Borrowing from the 1977 With Soul... With Blood by the Palestine Film Unit, it breaks free from the original order of visual elements, shattering, juxtaposing, and misaligning the materials for a reimagined arrangement.

Imagery that once simulated violent subversion is transformed through collage, masking, and smearing. When viewed from a distance, the interplay of color and blank spaces engenders a relaxed, carnival-like feel, yet upon closer inspection, the details reveal conflicting and ironic undertones. Blurred lines between the visible and invisible echo ambivalence surrounding the presence and absence of the archive, inviting viewers to continuously question and interpret, creating new vantage points from which to approach authenticity.
