Festival Dates
We are a biennial! The 14th TIDF will take place from 10 to 19 May 2024.
Film submissions
No entry fee. You can only submit your film(s) to the 14th TIDF 2024 using the Online Entry Form on this website.
Each film has to comply with the following conditions:
- Any changes made to the data provided on the Film Submission form must be updated in a timely fashion.
- You should provide an online preview of the film you are submitting. Failure to do so will result in your film submission being rendered invalid.
- Date of Completion: No earlier than 1st December 2021.
- Premiere Status: A Taiwan Premiere is required, except for Taiwanese productions made by Taiwanese filmmakers holding a National Identification Card or Taiwan Resident Certificate.
Film submission deadlines:
Tuesday, 5 December 2023. Our online entry system will automatically shut down at 12:00 (GMT+8).
***Despite the deadline, we kindly ask that you start submitting your films beginning on September 5th, 2023, in order to allow ample time for us to review them.
Competition & Selection
- TIDF features four competition sections —Asian Vision Competition, International Competition, Taiwan Competition and Cross-section Competition.
- The festival does not disclose the reasons behind the decisions of non-selected entries.
- The festival decides to which section a selected film would belong.
Before you submit…
➊ If you do not have an account in our database yet, please click on【My TIDF】, fill in basic identification information and set a password. Your registration will make further communication with TIDF easier and you will be able to use your account in the following years for submission. After the registration, you can access the Online Entry Form.
➋ After login, you will see【View】as default page. Please click on【Submission】in yellow tab and【Create a new entry】to submit.
