That year, I returned to Pico Island in the Azores. I wanted to meet the writer, poet and whale hunter, José Dias de Melo. I wanted to spend a few days by his side. But when I arrived I learned that he had fallen ill and was in hospital. Nobody could tell me when he would be back. So I decided to wait... I took with me one of his last books "Poeira do Caminho". I peruse it to pass the time. And if I listen, I hear his voice...

What can be retained with photography? Where is the cinema leading us? Is there meaning to life after all? Mark LEE goes on the road and tries to answer these questions at a pace of 24 frames per second. We followed his swinging footsteps and gathered the fragments lost between frames to discover the passion he gave to the Taiwanese cinema.

This film reveals for the first time the struggle of a young Tibetan King who is expected to continue a 1,400 year old lineage while the Tibetan freedom movement is at a critical crossroad. The film takes a close look at the internal contradictions within the Tibetan movement. It exposes the uncomfortable truth that the Chinese government is only part of the reason why Tibet has not regained its independence.

End of June of 2010, the Pudu Prison wall of Kuala Lumpur was torn down. A group of people mourned at the jail because the government chose to ignore history. This work is combined with digital and celluloid images and uses multiple projections. It combines film and live performance to create the illusion of a space within another space, and depicts how people in Kuala Lumpur chose to be silent when facing history.

This film performance about meta-history of film using a educational film print 1980~1990 and some of historical footage about Korean War. We're reading and learning about our own history and many conceptual idea about science but we can't read on film we're just hearing and seeing through film footage. If we can change whole this thing into cinematic experience, finally we can see and hear about that.
