Minamata Diary

In 1995, Mr. and Mrs. TSUCHIMOTO moved their residence to Minamata again to photograph portraits of deceased victims for an exhibition in Tokyo next year. The video footage they shot recorded the beauty of Minamata. The director documented that year of their lives. A decade later, TSUCHIMOTO's voice-over explanation was added onto the sound track.
