In December 1941
the Pacific War broke out. Hundreds of Taiwanese were recruited to join the war. When the war ended
these Taiwanese soldiers were sent to court as prisoners of war and faced identity crisis. HEAT SUN intends to record the lives of these soldiers. Through conversations and visual images
the film reveals the issues surrounding humanity and war.
