Taipei 4-way brings together four visual artists from different disciplines- animation, installation and performing art, documentary, and experimental film. They explore the aesthetic content and form of digital visual art. Intend to approaches in creating a project that would “critique Taipei, critique our time, critique digital technology, and critique media”.

Chinese title Tzuo Kung, meaning an action (Silk Road Journey) opening up an uncultivated land back to Chinese history, B.C. 200; and it also means excavation, to dig out what is buried or inside. Video camera follows along the metro construction site to write the Taipei city scenery, fences front the sites keep moving around, traffic then have their detour…
