Synopsis

As a personal story about the Filipino experience at the St.Louis World's Fair of1904, the film unfolds form the perspective of two characters, the Narrator, a Filipino immigrant in America, and MARKOD, an lgorot warrior held captive at the Fair. On one level, the film dramatically exposes the seminal contours of ethnic identity and experience in America, in the context of post-colonial culture and politics
