The violence that I've endured wouldn't have gone this far if I had the guts, said a battered wife. This is a film about four women who suffered from domestic violence. Shot in a highly sensitive environment for a year, it documented how these women seek protection of themselves and their children, and eventually the courage to leave their marriage.
