Double Happiness

The disjunction between the demand of man and woman in Asia has led to an odd phenomenon. While women in developed countries are unwilling to fit in the traditional marriages, a lot of men find their brides overseas. In the film, marriage brokers recruit young Vietnamese women to meet with groom-to-be groups. Every man pays a service fee and picks a bride after reviewing perhaps a hundred women in just a few days. These unions often lead to the collision of cultures when they back to the grooms’ country.
