“On January 8, 1988, when I was 10 years old, my parents took a vacation and left me with my brothers. That day I went to a friend’s birthday party and they were to pick me up. But they never arrived. After one year of uncertainty and anguish, we discovered that my brothers had been kidnapped, tortured, murdered and disappeared by the Ecuadorian police for no reason at all.” This documentary is a personal journey interlaced with the past of an entire country that was marked by this story.
