ManDove

ManDove follows the magical perkutut birds casting spells on Indonesian men, taking them away from their wives, and pitting them against each other to prove their masculinity. Judges pass through the forest of tall posts straining to discern the birds’ magical coos. MANDOVE encourages audience to experience, interpret and even speculate the truth. The filmmakers start a journey, audience takes over to the destination, wherever it is.
