The Face of Death

Synopsis

It's a documentary about facing death. The film takes a look at death through the eyes of terminally ill patients staying in a hospice. Each of them has an individual way of looking at dying. Some plan their funerals in great detail; others feel sad for their children who are left on their own. Death is painful, confusing and scary, but it can also be forgiving, reassuring and full of love. The film follows her diaries capturing rare experiences and raw emotions. It also experiences death through humour. The film discovers death but also life. In the end we all have a date with death, so why not enjoy the time we have - there is no rush.
