Pinkas' Dream

Pinkas, a75-year-old farmer from Moshav Rechov in the Beit Shean Valley, wakes up one morning troubled by a dream in which his sister Simha had appeared. He has not seen her since she married a Moslem and stayed in Kurdistan. Following his dream in spite of his family’s protests, Pinkas sets out on anlong and dangerous journey to the place of his birth, and finds his long-lost sister, her husband and their many children and grandchildren.
