Frozen Memories

With the assistance of the Psychology Department at the Shin-Yi Hospital, this documentary film records the life of non-hospitalized mentally ill patients and their　 families. By presenting a portrait of the daily lives of the patients in this film, the filmmaker hopes to change the violent and maniacal stereotype of mentally ill individuals. The testimonies of the family members of these patients are another focus of this film. For the first me in Taiwanese documentary film history, audience will witness the reality of living with and caring for mentally ill patients.
