Travelling Medicine Peddlers(PAO-JIANG-HU)

The Pao-Jaing-Hu are people who roam the night markets around Taiwan. They are said to be numerous in Jiayi and Tainan (in Southern Taiwan) where the old cultures still live on. The Pao-Jaing-Hu appearing in this film are based in Jaiyi (population 300,000). The shooting of the film took place mainly in and around the cities of Jiayi and Tainan. But moving with the Pao-Jaing-Hu, the film is also partly shot in Kaoshiung and the central mountain districts.
