This is the story of a prominent Hakka clan and their long history of internal disputes. The 200 year-old home of the Lius had collapsed during the 921 Earthquake. Many non-family members came to help re-establish their home. But despite the goodwill and understanding demonstrated by these outsiders, members of the clan continue to bicker and fight amongst themselves.
