The Pregnant Tree and the Goblin

Synopsis

For more than 40 years, PARK Insun, a former U.S. military's 'comfort woman', has lived in a shanty village adjacent to the American base soon to be demolished in Uijeongbu, South Korea. Mourning the silent death of a former colleague, she is spotted by ghostly messengers, who are fabricating life stories for the wandering spirits before taking them to the underworld. Refusing to be silenced and erased, Insun decides to defend her own true story against the messengers’ tampering attempts.
