Just Don't Think I'll Scream

It was January 2016; the love story that brought me to the village in Alsace had ended six months ago. At 45, I was alone, without a car, a job, or any real prospects. France, still in shock from the November 2015 terrorist attacks, was in a state of emergency. I felt helpless, lost, and suffocated with contained rage. I decided to record this stagnation by editing shots from the stream of films I watched.
