Synopsis
In the spring of 1982, GIANIKIAN and Ricci LUCCHI discovered a collection of footage shot by the early Italian pioneer of documentary film and cinematographer Luca COMERIO (1874-1940). As an act of providence, the directors took on the task of re-editing footage from Comeria's travels around the world - Antarctica, Eritrea, India, Italy, Tangiers, and Uganda. They attempt to critique the old footage, exposing how it supported suppressive ideologies.
