Synopsis

Missing Allen is a detective story that leads the viewer into the American Heart of Darkness of Wako, Texas; Oklahoma City, UFO-believers and religious cults. The film is an investigation into the disappearance of Allen Ross, a filmmaker and cameraman from Chicago, who went missing in 1995, only a few weeks after he had shot a film about the Mississippi River together with director Christian Bauer. Four and a half years later, Christian Bauer sets out to find his friend. There are only a few possible explanations for Ross's disappearance. Has he dropped out of society? - But for what reason?
