Coastal Life

Synopsis

In a film brimming with good-natured humor we meet several people who inhabit the coast of Norway. 27-year-old Regine, who fishes inshore from Lofoten to the North Cape, lives in a small smack with her boyfriend. Oystein lives on a group of uninhabited islands. He has built a small restaurant from driftwood and hopes to transform a bog into a heated pool for prospective visitors. Magnus has run an oyster farm for 70 years, and he continues to do so in spite of both his health and the oyster farm being on the wane.
