How High Is the Mountain

In this film director Shiang-Chu TANG records his own son’s birth and growing up, his father’s recovery from a stroke and a nostalgic trip to China. in his search for the earliest memory of life he examins the parallel of different times. In his previous work, ”How deep is the Ocean”, director Shiang-Chu TANG ended it with an ultrasound image of his unborn child, representing the beginning of a new life. With this film, he begins with a series of questions about life and continues to examine his own life and his longing for a perfect world.
