Olga Aredez, a mother who lives in an Argentine backwater, is the emotional core of this film. Possessing a tenacious spirit, Olga circles the main square in Ledesma each Thursday, an act of remembrance of one of the most brutal events in Argentine history - know as ‘the night of the blackouts’. Dr. Aredez, Olga’s husband, was well-respected in his local community. He rallied relentlessly for the rights of the workers. On the fateful night of March 24 1976, the lives of the Aredez’ change irrevocably.
